Founded in 2005 the mission of the Crumlin Community Development Project is to improve and develop co-operation between state-run and community agencies, to establish a center to increase and centralize services, to encourage people to contribute to their own personal development and the development of their area, to ensure all efforts are made to the community of Crumlin has access to a full range of services and facilities to meet their needs.Helping groups and individuals in the community to access services (including the CDP), especially those lacking a community infrastructure and suffering from severe marginalisation.






  • Youth and families, including Parents, Lone Parents, and Grandparents.
  • Long term unemployed.
  • Those affected by drugs.
  • Ethnic minority groups including the traveling community.
  • Older people
  • Disabled people.
  • The Gay community.
  • Women



Crumlin CDP cover the whole of Lower Crumlin and parts of Poddle Close, Windmill Park, Captains Avenue, Herbeton Road, and the Old County Area.
